Women's Rights
Human rights are essential guidelines that provide space for expressions that enable individuals to enjoy the freedoms and equity feeling. On most occasions, human rights ensure that people are treated equally and the necessary support given to them relating to their conditions and status (Rai, 2019). Besides, women are human beings and are not left out within the human rights principles. On several occasions, women have witnessed intimidation and violation of their rights. Some of these violations have been reported in the respective law enforcement agencies. However, a more significant percentage of these violations' victims have not been reported due to further intimidation or lack of awareness of their rights.
Similarly, most of the women's rights violations occur intentionally, involving people who know what is expected. However, on some occasions, men tend to have ideas on what they should do to embrace women and support them in society. Therefore, to embrace and support women in society, there must be a special dedication and a deeper understanding of their rights and freedom. By understanding their rights and freedom, humanity can develop necessary actions and strategies that are essential in embracing women. Based on the several challenges they go through and the designed duties, women need society's support to succeed in their projects. In some society setups, women are overwhelmed with endless responsibilities. Besides, such communities view women as weaker organs that cannot get involved in any constructive activity. Such kinds of human belief in society has belittled women hence undermining their potential. Relating to the data collected in the current century, over 50% of women still go under intimidation and social threat. The continuous threats have led to the development of revised rights that help in empowering women in society.
Sexual and Reproductive Rights
Sexual and reproductive directly deals with the body of an individual. However, everybody is entitled to have rights over their body. Women are not exempted as they have the right to decide who they marry, whether they want to have children, and when to have such children. In most instances, women have experienced gender violence such as rape cases, female genital mutilation, forced marriage, forced pregnancy, and even forced abortion (Liu, A, Shair-Rosenfield, S, Vance, L & Csata, 2018). These gender violation acts show discrimination against women's rights and expose women to be vulnerable in society. Therefore, knowing the women's rights will aid the process to help women support through providing a conducive environment for them to enable equity practices.
Freedom of Movement
People need to move around freely without restrictions to carry out their different activities. Women are also entitled to this freedom.
