The video titled “Trump’s Trade War” covers the story of the trade war between two of the world’s biggest economies - the United States and China. The video takes a look into the economic war between the two countries, focusing on how the two countries are positioning themselves to win the power war, and the effects it has had on the countries. One of the takeaways from the video is that the trade war is hurting the United States more than it does to China. American jobs, workers, and end-users are experiencing more difficulties resulting from the tariffs imposed by the U.S. (Young, Sullivan, & Schwartz, 2019). Secondly, it is important to note that China is unfairly forcing foreign companies to buy into the China model by compelling foreign firms to transfer a percentage of ownership to Chinese companies.
