Main Observations on Outline for Kura Te Waru Rewiri

It's Peer-Assignment for the final paper. Need to complete a two-question analysis of my team member's outline for his final paper.
The two questions are:
1. What did you learn from your partner’s project in its preliminary form, and does the thesis statement convey the main ideas?
2. Where do you think your partner is focusing the most energy?
My partner's topic is Kura Te Waru Rewiri (New Zealand Māori Artist). And I attached his outline of the final paper.
Final Project Overview:
The final project will focus on an online exhibit or artworks within Google Arts & Culture, CC Search (Creative Commons Search), or a similar large platform image database. Please get in touch with the professor if you want to work with materials from somewhere other than Google Arts & Culture or CC Search before proceeding or if you have any questions. Establish a point about this exhibition or these artworks as a thesis. Note what you regard as significant about it, then use the art to evidence your perspective. Google sometimes labels these online exhibits as stories.
Please focus on one exhibit from a Global South's cultural institution or select a topic dealing with the art or visual culture or peoples of the Global South (Africa, Asia, Australia, Latin America, or Oceania) or about indigenous peoples from anywhere. There's information on Visual Culture in the Course Supplements if you are not familiar with the term. Your final course project needs to include a combination of your observations about the selected art, references to research (at least one paraphrase or quotation) and must incorporate proper citations in the correct format. There is information about formatting captions and the final course project in the Course Supplements. There you'll also find details on the different options available for the final course project--oral presentation, written submission, or video presentation. Presume you will publish your work, so it must meet the necessary circulation standards in a public forum with your name attached to it.
