For this assignment, you will continue working with the project you selected for your Project Charter Assignment*. Before completing the assignment, 1) make sure you have completed Modules 1-9 of the course, 2) make sure you have access to Microsoft® Project software, and 3) make sure you attend the Collaborate session for reviewing Microsoft® Project or watch the recording. The date of the Collaborate session will be posted in Announcements.
Your submission should include a title page with your name, date, course name, course reference number, professor name, and project title.
Next, include an updated project charter with feedback you received from me on that assignment. You may also update it given the knowledge you gained from Part 2 of the course.
Add the following planning elements to your project paper:
A stakeholder prioritization matrix. See Exhibit 6.2 on page 181 and Exhibit 6.3 on page 182 for example stakeholder matrices.
A project communication plan. See Exhibit 6.9 on page 192 for example communications plans.
A plan for resolving resource overloads. See Section 9-6 of the text for examples.
Next, using Microsoft® Project:
Initialize the project in Microsoft® Project and set up a milestone schedule.
Create a work breakdown structure (WBS), including a project summary row, tasks, work packages, duration, and predecessors.
Depict the project schedule on a Gantt chart and show the critical path.
Define and assign resources to the project.
