The article states that Anorexia has the highest mortality compared to other psychiatric disorders. The disease is prevalent among young women and is it common in teenage girls. The diseases causes weight loss among women. According to this article, most primary care practitioners does encounter few cases of the disease, but these cases cause distress and frustration among the practitioners (Mehler & Brown, 2015). This is a good article for anyone who would like to learn more on the complications of Anorexia.
