Due Date Lesson Plan Science Part 1 Subject: Science Grade: Kindergarten Time: 1 Hour Concept: When primary colors are combined, secondary colors are produced. Objectives: Students will be able to do the following after the lesson:

• Identify the primary colors that are used in everyday life.
• Make predictions and observations about blooms, depending on what you see.
• Participate in experiments that include blending primary colors to produce new hues.
• Colors should be sorted into categories.

Materials

• Paint in the colors red, yellow, and blue. Each class will get one bottle of each kind.
• Sandwich bags (one for each student)
• Make a Splash! by Herve Tullet
• A little bucket with a variety of various colored buttons
• Egg cartons that have been emptied, one for each of the students
• Handout with Venn diagram and crayon boxes (one per student)

Advanced Preparation

• Have a copy of the book "Mix It Up!" Keep a copy of Hervé Tullet nearby to read.
• Place empty bags and paint on the students' desks, where they will be sitting for the class duration.
• Create a Venn diagram template for each student and distribute it to them.
• It will help to put all of the students' crayons, buttons, and egg cartons in their bags. Then, the students will be able to get them and use them.

Procedure Activity that is being initiated: Color experimentation will be the topic of discussion today, and students will be notified about this. Students should be encouraged to search for anything they may have in their luggage or around the classroom. Each youngster will be required to identify the hue of the thing in front of them. How to Do It:

• The pupils must sit in a circle for the instructor to deliver Mix It Up! Written by Herve Tullet.
• Following that, scholars take chances in sharing throughout the novel. For example, when the book teaches students to drop the blue paint and rub the yellow glob of paint, have a student come up to the table, rub it, and conjecture what color they believe the yellow and blue will produce.
