  • Egg cartons that have been emptied, one for each of the students
  • Handout with Venn diagram and crayon boxes (one per student)
Advanced Preparation
  • Have a copy of the book "Mix It Up!" Keep a copy of Hervé Tullet nearby to read.
  • Place empty bags and paint on the students' desks, where they will be sitting for the class duration.
  • Create a Venn diagram template for each student and distribute it to them.
  • It will help to put all of the students' crayons, buttons, and egg cartons in their bags. Then, the students will be able to get them and use them.
