Personal Statement
I have chosen public health as my career for three main reasons. First, I envision creating a positive impact in people’s lives by aiding them to live healthier lives. Secondly, I am passionate about healthcare for it is the base upon which productive lives are made. As a part of the healthcare team, I will not only be able to help individuals and households be healthier, but also productive. A nation can never progress without healthy citizens. Thirdly, I am a firm believer that prevention is always better than cure. Prevention saves both lives and resources. I intend to focus more on the preventative role.
