Premise:
The paper focuses on a cost-effective method to represent a three-dimensional (3D) tumor models using a 3D printed mask and the clamping system and focusing on microspot arrays and consequent cell loading (Samara, et al., 2021). The researchers were able to create 3D arrays of cryopreserved tumor models making it possible to observe the cells. 3 D tumor models can be made using the researchers’ approach where there is then high-throughput cell analysis to study the effects and efficacy of cancer drugs. The researchers explain the method that is adequately covered.
Advance / Hypothesis
The paper-based 3D models are effective for drug screening, investigating tumor response, and cell response to drugs. Paper-based 3 D microfluidic applications are potentially useful to study 3 D cell models and cancer diagnostics Approach
