Tea is one of the most common Chinese plants used to support the immune system. There are different types of teas; green tea, in particular, benefits the immune system. Tea is consumed as a beverage without the leaves being processed, where the freshly picked leaves are referred, but dried leaves are also used as they are preserved. Nowadays, green tea is more associated with cancer prevention; black tea is thought to reduce blood pressure and cholesterol, while red and yellow tea have different healing properties.2.
