Why is this film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror important to film history?
Nosferatu: A symphony of horror is important, especially the vampire is introduced in the film for the first time. The film became the pioneer of vampire movies, thus shaping most of the vampire movies produced in the film industry (Massaccesi et al. 43). The movie creates unique imaging of the vampire that is not attractive but corpselike human form. This carets es a unique extinct in the audience since its fascination and dread remain troubling, thus creating a unique dimension in the film industry.
What are five camera angles used in the film, and record the time code where each shot occurs in the film?
The producer used low angles shorts vibrant at 1.01.12, which gives the characters such as Orlok and Nosferatu and the settings of the place (castle) an intimidating providence. In this case, the camera angle is highlighting the ship's rigging and the echoing of the spider web as seen in the knock cell before. The film also applies the high angle shots vibrant at 34.28, which bring out the expressive effect. Furthermore, a knee level shot is when the camera is at a low trajectory as the character's knees. It always emphasizes superiority. The eye-level shot is vibrant at 34.58, which brings the face of the subject closer (Massaccesi et al. 18). It always gives a neutral perspective of the subject. Lastly, the shoulder level shot vibrant at 30.44 is roughly as high as the subject's shoulders, thus making the subject to be shorter than the reality.
