The culture of an organization determines the correct behavior. The culture comprises common convictions and values created by leaders and then conveyed and strengthened through various means to shape employees' perceptions, conduct, and understanding. Corporate culture creates the framework for all the activities of a company. Due to substantially different sectors and conditions, there is no one cultural template that fulfills the demands of all organizations. One of the most successful firms has a strong culture (Brown, 2015). Everyone has a high level of unanimity on cultural priorities, and those values do not focus on people but the company and its objectives (Brown, 2015). Leaders in successful firms embody their cultures every day and go beyond the reach of workers and future hires to share their cultural identities. They understand their principles, how they define their companies, and how they operate.
What are the various ways in which employees can learn about an organization's culture?
Rituals and ceremonies
If working methods are highly organized and employees are task-driven and not result-driven, cultures can be hierarchical or inflexible, sometimes with little space for experimentation or creativity. How a firm teaches employees to offer feedback or educate people about issues such as discrimination sends out a powerful statement about the meaning of the organization. Learning and development rituals and practices may be achieved via micro-learning to promote a continual culture of progress.
