How to create a diverse team of workers with different strengths.
The strategy employed here will focus on recruiting and selection practices. This will involve providing training for impartial selection process and establishment of strategic partnerships that will effectively align the organization with diverse talent pipelines (Bojeun, 2013). The company can introduce a program that will empower workers by including them in the development of recruitment strategies that will enhance diversity in the hiring process. This leads to a more collaborative and inclusive workforce and also supports awareness associated with diversity.
Management can focus on employee engagement. This will involve providing an open platform for workers to engage in open and honest dialogue which develops a shared understanding that diversity is only successful through a commitment from all employees (Shaw, McPhail & Ressia, 2018). This will include arranging conferences and seminars that will allow workers to discuss everyday professional experiences, which lead to the development of relationships and a stronger sense of community.
