Menu Assignment: Fast Food

Develop 6 menus from these fast-food restaurants Chick-Fil-A, Taco Bell, Papa Johns. Find the nutrient content from these restaurants. 1) Describe how you found this nutrition information. 2) Create the lowest fat meal you can from the menu from each of the three restaurants. This meal needs to include an entrée, a side, a drink, and a dessert. 3) Then create the highest fat meal you can from the menu from each of the three restaurants. Again, the meal needs to include an entrée, a side, a drink, and a dessert. You should have a total of 6 menus. For all 6 menus (3 low fat and 3 high fat) determine the total fat content, the total saturated fat content, and the total calories. Also, provide sodium content if it’s available.
4) Write a 2-page reflection paper on your experience answering the following questions:
What insights did you gain from this activity?
What did you learn that you did not realize about fast food options?
How easy is it to limit fat consumption at a fast-food restaurant?
How can you use this information to educate a patient who needs to reduce fat, but eats fast food often?
