Transition from Expert to Novice

This is similar to a reflective assignment:
Upon graduation you may be looking for a new position as an educator. Transitioning from Expert to Novice is an experience many professionals may encounter with career changes, position changes, or organizational shifts. This journey involves giving up the comfort of an "expert" and engaging with learning new obligations and activities as a "novice" in a new professional setting. This transition may be accompanied by feelings of vulnerability and uncertainty. There are formal and informal strategies that contribute to a positive transition. The "novice" may cultivate a willingness to learn from others, engage in reflection, set realistic expectations, develop a support network, or seek a mentor.
