Throughout my educational experience, I have come across various arrays of teaching and learning techniques. Some of the classes I have attended have largely impacted my academic and social life while some have just left me with negligible influence. A philosophy of education mostly majors on examining the forms, goals, methods, and the valid definition of the term education.
Teaching and learning is a lifetime journey that should be inspirable and beneficial. Its not dynamically set to revolve around classrooms but involves also social life among the teacher and learners. I understand teaching should take a two-way traffic where both the teacher and student learn together and correct each other’s once a default occurs. I consider teaching and learning session to encourage curiosity as an asset to develop question for better understanding of the knowledge. A session comparison of question asking moments enhance the critical thinking capability of both the involved parties. A teacher is one who passes knowledge to learners. one that understands the need and the way each student interacts with the education system is a typical example of a perfect teacher. I believe that teachers are the second parents to each individual student and the handling of students I consider it as parent child relationship. Passion and commitment is the main attribute that each teacher should possess. If teachers were all committed, the teaching experience would be smooth and of great inspiration to students.
Considering the fact that we all come from different dimensions of the world, education system also comprises of students from diverse background. The understanding capability of each students varies from one to another. There are those understand at the moment of teaching and there are those that takes time to adapt into the system.
