Course of action
The course of action I would likely take is the course of action #3, whereby I would not accept the original project by the student that has been plagiarized but rather give the students who have plagiarized their work a chance to resubmit the work or else get a zero. Although the students would have attempted the work, I will not award them marks for work that has been plagiarized since they will get used to it and never change their ways. However, since education is a learning process, I will give them a second chance to resubmit the work within a given deadline and with no plagiarism. Otherwise, they risk being awarded a '0' on their grade.
