Using Library and Electronic Sources: I have acquired relevant skills during my studies at GBS. I have employed computer programs and assist tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to effectively and efficiently complete my academic assignments.
Planning: To attain success in my class assignments, I plan to espouse skills that have been more useful and significant such as timekeeping, patience, hard work, and persistence in whatever I do to attain maximum success and output in my studies. The academic skills have been significant as they are a vital skill in which my referencing, presentation abilities, and academic writing have been brought to the core (Burns & Sinfield, 2012).
Note Taking: The notes that I am currently keeping in class entail the subject learned in the GBS class. The notes will significantly underpin multifaceted practical skills for studies such as reflective exercises and critical thinking. These forms of academic skills have encouraged me in my path of becoming an efficient and effective learner, in addition to giving me the confidence to take part fully in some of my courses in my GBS class. The skill of timekeeping, for instance, has come in handy when tackling assignments and sit-in exams, ensuring that I have been adequately prepared to pass examinations by following my timetable keenly. It is only through the virtues of persistence and hard work that I have been able to complete my GBS class. Some of my peers who lacked these hitherto notes, and general academic plans could not attain what I could achieve in academic progression.
Building Bibliography: In my studies, I learned that bibliography and reference lists are critical in my academic tasks, and in the future, I will incorporate the same in my academic assignments. There is not much difference between them as they mean the same thing.
Plagiarism: Plagiarism, as I learned in my studies, is the act of handing out another person's work without their consent and expressing approval and presenting the same as your own. It is essential to write the content in your own words to avoid plagiarism.
Finding and Reviewing Sources: The most effective source of information that I have employed so far is The Study Skills Handbook by Cottrell (2013).

Reflection: I reflect that the skills garnered from these courses include English courses which are extremely important after completing my studies. The skills will serve me right after I graduate from the GBS class. It is important to note that there are numerous virtues of studies that include proficiency to undertake the subsequent investigations, passion regarding the chosen subject, command when it comes to thinking independently, and a constructive attitude when it comes to studies. I have been looking forward to attaining success in my exams by ensuring coherence and hard work in my GBS class and my general studies through the notes.
