Violent Video Games Should Be Banned Among High School and College Students.
Given the current technological advancements, there are plenty of fun activities that children can participate in. Among them is the playing of video games. Such video games come in different versions, and some of them tend to be violent. The violent games are the most loved by most high school and college boys since they are a leisure activity. The developers of such games have no control over the impact that they bring to the players. Therefore, the playing of violent video games should be banned since they encourage bullying, theft, and hinder sound decision making.
College and high school students are still learning how to control their emotions, and therefore, violent video games can encourage them to bully others. The losers of such games end up being the victims of bullying since they have to obey the orders of the winners. Hence, to avoid such kind of bullying, it is best to ban violent video games among high school and college students.
As well, the violent games ought to be banned because they encourage theft among students through betting on the players. It is clear that violent video games are not only played for fun, but students also make money from them through betting. Such betting can be addictive, especially in the case where a student wins consecutive games. As a result, the student ends up doing anything possible to get the money for betting. Among the ways through which they can get such money is by stealing. The students will not only steal from their parents but also from their fellow students.
