Summary of the Article
The article selected examined the relationship between the texture of a fabric and colour appearance. It also investigated whether the changes in hue, lightness, and chroma appearances take place at a higher degree than the rate at which they can be detected. The experiment included a total of 78 fabric samples with various textures and dying. Statistical (Pearson correlation, simple regression, and Tukey's Post hoc) analyses were conducted using IBM SPSS. The findings of the study revealed that texture is an essential element in synthetic design because it affects colour appearance due to the amount of light absorbed and angle of reflection.
