Response to the Story: To Kill a Mockingbird

Essay Instructions:

To Kill a Mockingbird is told through Scout’s point of view, although Jem changes and grows a great deal throughout the story. Incorporating at least FIVE of the ten vocab words you chose for your TKAM vocab assignment, write journal entries (one or several) from Jem’s perspective about major event(s) of the story (i.e. after the knot hole is filled, after the trial, after his pants are mended etc.) Note: Underline each vocab word. Summer just started and I'm very excited to see how this summer will turn out to be.
Sincerely,
Jem

She called him a bad name and I became apoplectic and decided I needed to get revenge. And I did! Atticus was mad and NOW I NEED TO READ TO HER EVERYDAY! Ugh! She’s a miserable old toad - always insulting us and Atticus. Well good night.
Sincerely,
Jem
