For Danston and Galison, not at all like for the previous studies during the Scientific Revolution, objectivity implies various things on various occasions. Its history did not start in the Seventeenth Century. In their own words, mechanical objectivity was developed as a logical in the Mid-Nineteenth Century (Wilson, Brett, Barbara, and Stuart, 152-157). They coined that the truth to nature as objectivity in science showed up in the Mid-Nineteenth Century. During the Eighteenth Century, before objectivity, there was epistemic temperance.
