Where it says suitcase
read traces of old memories
Where it says rabbit
read rode a fancy limousine
like unopened presents from my birthday party
Where it says bicycle read cups
Where it says cups read colorful melting popsicle
Leaves are to remain leaves
Each time a watch appears
think of Alexander Graham Bell
sweeping the floor
Remove all the heart buttons
They are the elephant in the room
Everyone should stop talking about
Sing to me till I’m asleep
otherwise, you’ll never hear the end of it
That damn dog is still frolicking around
Will there be time left to admire their
lavish yet staged lives to replace
all forks nails pools cars
all pillows strings hats and junks
that comment, my lifetime regret
that moment I rained on their parade
when I should have been studying for my test.
