Information Literacy Project
Every time I sit down and look at the world around I feel that it has been changed by entrepreneurs. I am motivated every time I open a newspaper article and see how entrepreneurs are changing the world. I often feel proud and sometimes think that the economy of our country could collapse in absence of businessmen and entrepreneurs. Entrepreneurs and businessmen have employed thousands of people in the world. That is not the only thing that makes me proud of joining this class of people. I have always wondered how someone can employ me and dictate my freedom. I do not mean to offend anyone, but I am uncomfortable with working from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. I want to be free, to dictate my freedom, to change the society around, and even reach the global society through trade. This is the reason I am interested in business, to study and obtain a master’s degree and understand how the business world works.
I was motivated by my motivation to become a businessman. Throughout my life, I have spent a lot of time working along people of diverse culture. I am also always organized and can work better under minimum pressure. Sometimes my parents and teachers tell me that I could become the best person in recordkeeping. They do not know that this is my passion and I hardly struggle being organized. I once read an article by Suleiman published in CNN newspaper. I wanted to compare my traits with what was published in the newspaper and found that I belong to a group of businessmen. Being in business requires transparency and strong personal and work ethics. I have read about unethical businessmen, but this does not mean that all businessmen are unethical. I want to be a loyal businessman that will transform my life and the society around.
