My Hometown-Tieling City
I was born and raised in Tieling, a small city located in Liaoning province is in the northeastern part of China. In English, Tieling could be taken to mean Iron Ridge, a cold place with a cold name. Despite being cold, I will always consider Tieling to be my warm little hometown. Many factors including quietness, safety, the warmth of the people, the slow-paced life and peaceful life, and the environment set Tieling aside from other megacities in China. It is this little town that left me with unforgettable childhood memories.
Tieling city is a quiet place with a great neighborhood. This is different from other cities as you would expect noise because of people, traffic, and industries. However, for Tieling City, it is generally quiet, which makes it peaceful. It is one of the reasons why I always cherish a trip to the town. When people have gone to work and children to school, you hardly get to hear any noise. However, in the evening, when children are back, you may get to hear some noise. Nonetheless, this does not mean that the city is noisy. It is the quietness that makes it unique from other cities.
