Reflect on how writing in a group affected your composition process.
Reflect on your process and product.

• What have you learned about yourself and the writing process by writing in a group?

Writing in a group has impacted on my composition writing process in several ways. I have been able to compare my writing to that of my peers, which has helped me improve my writing process. Working on other people’s topics has helped me incorporate their process and product in my way of writing. Therefore, I have managed to compare and contrast through handling issues to that of my peers. However, there are specific processes and product approaches that I used differently from those of my peers. This touches on the choice of words and the tone of my voice compared to those of others. There were some differences in the delivery due to my analytic approach compared to the knowledge and comprehension of others. Additionally, my process changed while writing as a group because I had to adjust to the way I deliver my essay based on the comments and corrections highlighted by my peers. Therefore, I ended up taking some different steps in my approach to subsequent articles.
