WEEK 4: RESEARCH IN THE DIGITAL AGE. Literature & Language Essay
Today the entire world is literally at our fingertips. A few quick clicks of a keyboard and we are instantly met with seemingly endless resources. But finding and analyzing sources is key to building an effect argument. For this discussion, using your current topic or a new one, if you wish:
Conduct a brief Internet search using your selected topic and pick two sources of information. These should represent two different website classifications. Please include URL's.
Provide two examples of sources located via websites ending in .org, .edu, or .gov.
Finally, consider your two selections. How are the sites/articles similar? How are they different? Are the sources credible? Use the information literacy skills you have developed in previous weeks of this course to assess the validity of your selected websites and to provide a value judgement of the sources.
