LEADERSHIP SKILLS
A peace officer has to uphold the very highest standards of morality and ethics. It is an occupation that requires personal commitment to be the best at what you do. I believe that there are some leadership skills I need to acquire if I am to be a successful peace officer. Good officers are great at active listening; they can listen carefully and get the message and mood from the situation they are dealing with (Schafer).
