The progressive period was crucial in the history of America. The above research primarily focuses on the groups and leaders who emerged to fight for the progressive agenda. The research also focuses on their philosophy, agenda, strategies, and their approaches.
To start with, in the year 1901, President Theodore Roosevelt supported the fight for progressive agenda. Also, Woodrow Wilson was an expositor of progressive agenda in an executive branch in the United States. Later he was moved from being a state's — rights conservative to a Rooseveltian proponent of progressive agenda (Ruiz et al. 159). Roosevelt was consistent in his attachment to liberal political philosophy. Roosevelt and Wilson's aim was to ensure that human rights were conserved in the State. Both Roosevelt and Wilson used realism and idealism in the convectional account of the United States (Walker et al. 757). At the end of their era, both of them left the White House physically broken. Despite this fact, both were certain that the American's vision would be realized eventually.
