The history of immigrants and the quest for peace and equality amongst Americans and especially women are extensive. For centuries, American women have fought not only to be challenging but to be accepted in society as responsible leaders and citizens. The "Temperance and purity advocate" was a Christian movement meant to remove all societal vices and fight for morality across America. In most cases, women were seen as objects of pleasure. They were used as sex workers for both noblemen and fellow citizens. Frances Willard believed that women could help in bringing purity in America by using women for noble use other than pornography and other ill intentions. She believed that they had a significant influence on society.
Frances Willard's ideology was to clean sinful America before restoring sanity in the judicial and society at large (Morone, 2017). Frances contributed to the freedom women experience today. If given a chance to vote for Frances Willard to memorize her advocacy fashion, I would do it without hesitation. She is amongst the pioneers of American freedom fighters. She set the foundation and brought sanity to most parts of the country. It was a significant movement that helped women realize themselves and devote themselves to bringing change.
