Question 1 (c): Which idea of Michael Moore's captured ideas would be the most beneficial for the children in the USA. Explain carefully why you think this will change enough social determinants to make a long-lasting difference and give children a better life and more opportunity.
One of the ideas that Moore captures is on America borrowing investment ideas from other countries rather than always engaging them in war. After traveling to Europe, he comes up with these ideas and feels that America should try such ideas. This would be a great idea for children because it would help future generations create harmony with the rest of Europe and borrow ideas that can help create jobs and sources of revenue for the government. Despite the USA doing well, he feels that other countries are also doing well, and some are actually doing better than America in some fields. He sees no harm in trying some of the ideas in such countries.
He argues that the U.S keeps engaging other countries in wars and has nothing to benefit from it. As such, he vows to invade countries on his own to bring something useful back home and help future generations.
In this case, Moore's idea is that the country has misplaced priorities as it focuses on warring with other countries rather than borrowing innovative ideas from them. He opines that the government is responsible for securing the future of its generations by expanding its job market through investments, which will also generate revenue for the government. However, the government has failed in this case, so Moore opts to take up the responsibility.
