Consulting Project

This is a consulting project. Our team needs to study a company named CT Automative group. We have divided the work, and I am responsible for 6. Critical evaluation of the results achieved:- in relation to the project brief; - in academic terms; - in professional terms. You need to use it to write about the following two points deficiencies and make critical summary. 300 words will be ok！
1.Main Problem – Excessive steps in supply chain leading to higher number of damaged goods. We can make the supply chain leaner.
a.We can make the supply chain leaner by; removing the decanting of parts and repackaging of them into plastic boxes that takes place at CT UK’s plant (therefore removing CT UK as a touch point all together). TIM WOODS; Transport, Inventory, Motion, Waiting, Over-production, Over-processing, Defects, Skills not being appropriately used.
b.Also talk about JIT (Just in Time), Whole Network
2.Cost saving for CT UK and for Nissan.
a.Nissan savings: No need to purchase reusable shipping containers, save money on return shipping of empty containers to CT UK.
b.CT savings: Labour cost of employees decanting the products, no initial spending for containers therefore no cash flow impact, no cost for shipping repackaged parts to Nissan UK. (These two points and requirement can be found in the attachment named "Consulting Presentation Plan", I marked my part in red).
Please note: Theories and academic terms must be used！！！！ I think the first point can use lean supply chain, types of wastes. The second point you can think of several financial belongings, benefits to employees, and so on. So you need to write the draft of the two points, and mark the key points so that I can use them in the presentation, I think around 300 words is ok.
