But the purpose of this article is to describe a event you have experienced before, not do a research online and refer information you found in those articles. So you don't need many scholar articles, one or two is enough. I will upload all the files you need.

Catholic Vs. Protestant Christian Religious Beliefs
Apart from atheists who do not consider God being in existence, many people belong to a specific religion that influences their actions and behaviors in the community. Among the various religions, some claim to be having the same God, while others have their separate gods. Admittedly, this comes from the fact that God is considered to be a supernatural being to whom humans must worship and rely on for support in their everyday life. In other words, what we believe for support and worship in our daily life becomes God in our life. For that case, some people decide to worship an invisible God in the form of spirit, while others structure stones, woods, and fabricated metals and consider it their god. Even though some religions have the same God, there are some noted similarities and differences in their beliefs. I am Chinese by decent. I am also a senior student at UConn, a university that I significantly cherish for my upbringing. Although many would except a smooth run at university, religious differences should always be expected, as heightened in this piece.
At UConn, I have found it interesting interacting with people from diverse backgrounds. With different people at the institution, I nearly got scared of opening up about my beliefs. However, with time, I considered this as a chance of unveiling and discovering the beliefs behind the two religions. Besides, I acquired a university roommate named John, who was a devoted Catholic Christian. The created friendship between I and John contributed towards my discovery concerning the two religions. Remembering the first time I met John, he came asking if there can be a room with a single person so that he can be allowed to join. By that time, I also needed a person to join me in my room such that we can share the accommodation costs. Although I had noted John as being a staunch Catholic through the Rosary beads around his neck, I happily welcomed him and carried his luggage into the room. Surprisingly, John was happy and thanking God in his words, “My Father my God, thanks for getting me a vacancy and a roommate”, as he followed behind me into the room. Nevertheless, he opened his bag, and the first things he picked from his luggage were a prayer book and the Bible, which were Identical to mine. Definitely, this left me wondering of which God he was praising and how comes that we had the same prayer books and Bible.
Since I had known much about protestant religion, I much focused on Catholicism. During my first week at the University, John and I decided to attend our Sunday service at the Cathedral of St. Paul, where Catholics always gathered for prayers. Entering the cathedral, I took the behind seat to keenly and secretly discover the catholic practices. Among the things noted, I discovered that the church setup and the way the service is conducted are similar to that of Protestants. Notably, the similarities ranged from the songs, flow of service, and the preaching. However, cited differences were that the pulpit had Mary’s Statue, which I considered an Idol and the water in the bowl at the entrance of the cathedral that all people who...
