Museum Paper about Pop Art
Pop art acts as an important or an ironic comment on the values of traditional fine arts. The drawings are reduced in quality to resemble paintings that were made before the advancement of artwork. Generally, the arts are based on present popular culture and mass media. The focus of the work is to identify the elements of pop culture that have been used in the two pictures and how they relate to class readings.
The first painting shows the religious belief of the people who existed at the time of Jesus. The picture proves the origin of the current religious beliefs of various people across the world. The picture proves to us why we should worship God and the importance of the coming of Jesus Christ. Specifically, the picture is based on the Biblical teachings of Jesus during the last supper. Moreover, the teachings of Jesus show the good values that we should adopt to live peacefully and enter the kingdom of God.
The second painting is based on the arts and literature of the people who lived at the time. The art shows that different colors had been invented during the period and they are arranged in a way that helps to identify the image which has been painted. The materials used to make the painting and the manner in which they are grouped to indicate together that the picture shows a type of architecture. Some of the materials that make up the architecture include metals and pieces of wood. However, there was less innovation during the time.
