As a graduate student enrolled at Dalhousie University majoring in geology, I am interested in conducting research in offshore geosciences. With the introduction of an Advanced Field School for geology majors, this is an opportunity I need to take advantage of by traveling to other places and conduct my research in the field of offshore geosciences. Geologic mapping is the fundamental skill and knowledge for the dissemination of geologic knowledge, the exercise is challenging over the course and requires proper exposure.
