The Everglades restoration project received unanimous bipartisan support by the United States House and Senate. The consequent signing of the bill into law by President Trump means that a significant portion of funds is set aside towards rehabilitating Everglades in south Florida. The move means that a chunk of the taxpayer’s money will be spent towards a noble course. In the 21st century, when environmental pollution seems to have reached its saturation point, it is a noble cause for leaders to agree towards protecting the environment unanimously. The move is historic and will see the level of pollution toward Everglades significantly reduced.
There are several reasons why there is a coalition in saving Everglades. First, the move would help reduce toxicity in the Everglades.
