Typically, business ethics can be described as the moral code that a business should exercise while contacting a company, for instance, environmental conservation. A business can address several environmental problems, pollution, clean water, and global warming. The primary of every business is to make profits and expand and participate in environmental conservation. Ethically, a visioned business should commit to controlling pollution since it is an enormous problem globally. It would be absurd to ignore the cost of pollution; therefore, it is essential to use conservative methods during product production. Most production processes use diesel and coal as the primary energy source; they are the leading global warming source. Thus, it is critical to ensure a business surges carbon-filled components and instead uses clean energy such as solar energy. Businesses should also focus on providing clean water to the community; it is a good cause. Additionally, they can fund conservative dams, which shortens dry periods, hence lowering carbon monoxide levels in the atmosphere. They can address waste disposal issues, for instance, encourage biodegradable storage products (ADEC).
It is possible for companies to remain green and yet be economically sustainable. However, there is a cost to achieve it, and it can also take long before actualization. Generally, the cost of green is the main reason as too why most companies prefer using coal and diesel in production. Any organization committed to engaging in an eco-friendly business will require resources, but the results will be worth the hustle. Technically, sustainability is possible and makes sense in a profitable business, although most businesses prefer shortcuts and massive returns.
