Kira says that the confidentiality of a client should be the top priority, but it is very unfortunate that it is never guaranteed (Anderson, et al. 2012). The problem is coaches have no way to make the promise to the court as the coach-client relationship is not protected under any law. Thus, everything depends on the situation. It can also be said that ethics are about the person and the world he or she lives in.
According to Makalie, the coach is responsible for working as an independent contractor. Some coaching companies are also present that he or she can be licensed through or can work for. The best examples are Professional Coaches, International Coaching Foundation, and Mentors Association. If the coach decides to work for or to represent any of these or other organizations, he or she has to follow the rules and regulations and standards of competence.
