Each country has specific ideologies regarding law enforcement. The French Police, in particular, has two main divisions; the National Police and the National Gendarmerie. The two have specific jurisdictions with the national Police controlling large cities and urban centers under the Ministry of Interior. On the other hand, the National Gendarmerie is in charge of all rural areas, airports, military bases, shipping ports and works under the defense ministry. Contrarily, the German Police are controlled by the country's states, culminating in informing many police divisions, serving various jurisdictions at the federal and state levels. One of the most famous German Police is the Autobahnpolizei or highway patrol police. Their primary duty is to respond to accidents, control Germany's heavy traffic and conduct security checks along the German highways. Mobile Courts are a new phenomenon in India, and several states have installed the court system into their judicial operations. The courts handle all types of judicial matters on the premise of police statements or criminal complaints and take cognizance of criminal proceedings.
