It is possible to manage conflict, ensure the success of the team and motivate Michael, Elizabeth, Doug, and Williams to give their best performance. First of all, the organizational vision has to be shared with all of them (Yip & Bink, 2007). Another idea is to allow all of the team members to communicate with one another. This way, they can learn about new ideas, exchange useful information and can discover new ways to achieve success. Conflicts can be resolved and the team can be motivated when every person is valued and appreciated for their work. No doubt, it is one of the best and most effective ways to keep the team members on the right track and to help them meet the targets. It is good to praise them for their great performance, and sometimes, rewards or bonuses should also be given along with free transportation and medical facilities.

The process of team selection was obviously difficult, as we had a lot of brilliant and hardworking people to choose from (Pont & Canales, 2016). Michael, Elizabeth, Doug, and Williams looked better than others since they had their unique characteristics and personality traits. The most difficult team member was Doug. Though he is goal-oriented and hardworking, he does not like to work in a team. It looks like he is more comfortable with working alone than in a team. If this is the situation, then Doug may find it difficult to accomplish complex tasks in the future, even when he tries his best to contribute to the success of the team and the organization. The only way to address this issue is to encourage Doug to happily work in the team, with no questions asked. However, he will continue receiving the reward which is given to him based on his good performance.
