Assessment Description
The final paper will be a 1,250- to 1,375 -word research paper discussing your chosen topic. It is expected that all sources be credible, with a minimum of five peer reviewed articles. The final paper must include the following:
1. Abstract: Provide an overview of what the final paper is about. The abstract should be approximately 120 words in length; in-text citations should be excluded in this section.
2. The final paper should include the information required in Section 1: Topic Selection, Problem Statement, and Metrics; Section 2: Analysis; and Section 3: Possible Feasible Solution, with evidence of improvement based on feedback from the instructor.
3. In addition to solution and the process to get there, explain what is needed to implement the solution. In particular, what resources will be needed, including materials, technology, and people (who is needed on the team to implement and what roles will they play). Explain clearly how they will work together.
Prepare this assignment according to the guidelines found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center. An abstract is required. All citations must be in APA format.

Abstract
Climate change refers to the continuous change in global temperature patterns. Climate change can occur naturally or result from increased human activities. Recent years have seen a rise in human activities due to technological and industrial advancement and the global population increase. Some human activities contributing to climate change include deforestation, increased use of vehicles for transport, and industries' emission of heat-trapping gases. These changes have a significant impact on human life as well as the environment. For one, climate change has led to increased droughts across the world. There is also a rise in the frequency of floods and unexplainable wildfires across the globe, among others. Fortunately, several solutions can help address the situation, such as the use of alternative sources of energy, reforestation, and using electric cars.
Climate Change
Section One
Topic Selection
Climate change is one of the major contemporary issues that the world is facing. According to researchers, there has been a significant change in climate patterns lately, mainly due to human activities on Earth (Bernstein, 2013). It is therefore important to do thorough research on the issue of climate change. The topic selection for the essay is climate change.
Problem Statement
Drastic climate change has led to extreme events in different parts of the world, such as flooding and extended drought, which have negatively affected human life, for example, by reducing crop yields.
Section 2:
Analysis
Climate change can be defined as the long-term shift in temperatures and weather patterns. The world's climate has been continuously changing over geological time (Bernstein, 2013). The continuous change in the planet's climate has led to significant fluctuations in world temperatures. Although the change has been continuous over several decades, researchers have discovered that the current rate of change has occurred more rapidly than at any other time in the past. This shows that the increase in human activities across the world has seen significant warming of the temperatures due to the release of heat-trapping gases, also known as greenhouse gases. According to researchers, these heat-trapping gases are currently at the highest level they have ever been for the past eight hundred thousand years. The rapid change in climate poses a huge problem to the world because living things cannot adapt to the change (Thomas, 2010). However, it is important to note that climate change does involve not only the rapid rise in temperature but also a shift in the wildlife populations, rising sea levels, and extended droughts, among others (Bernstein, 2013).
Causes of climate change
Climate change can occur in two ways, either through a natural process or through human activities. However, as mentioned above, human activities are now the major contributors to climate change. These human activities include deforestation, manufacturing of goods, excessive consumption, and increased use of vehicles for transportation.
One of the major contributors to climate change is the use of vehicles in transporta...
