Discussion 1
The majority of India's land is used for agricultural purposes. Agriculture provides a living for almost 80 percent of the population in our country. However, the state of our agricultural sector is really poor. As a result of climate change, it is no longer possible to farm and produce sufficient quantities of food to satisfy the needs of a growing population. In addition, farmers may not have access to adequate irrigation facilities, making it difficult for them to adapt to climatic shifts. They are unable to acquire seeds and fertilizers promptly. Because of this, the yield is low. The agricultural industry is currently unprofitable. Therefore, one of the reasons for India's poverty is its inadequate agricultural sector. If I had the means, I would immediately begin implementing environmentally friendly farming practices. Second, a growing population leads to excessive consumption of the resources that are currently accessible, which in turn causes a change in climate due to increased human activity (Singh & Kumar, 2014). The country faces challenges due to its rapidly increasing population, including the requirement for more food, homes, and hospitals. Measures must be taken to slow the rate of population growth. If this does not happen, the problem of climate change might not be able to be addressed effectively.
