Agenda setting can be a difficult task in government because of its dynamics. These dynamics can be posed by government officials, politicians, and social media groups who might not collaborate with the government to support the agenda setting's proposed ideas. Social media group communication platforms such as Twitter and Facebook may link agenda-setting with personal emotions to oppose the ideas raised, making it difficult to prosper (Gilardi et al., 2020). The politicians may oppose ideas raised in agenda setting due to ideological differences, making it difficult to set government agendas. Although the agenda-setting promotes the country's development, politicians tend to oppose it.
President is the most important agenda-setter in the government. The president can sacrifice energy and time to discuss his regime’s ideas and manifesto, thus drawing the nation's attention to focus on it. He can be consulted when making important decisions pertaining agenda setting (Whitman, 2020).
