Social Implications of the #MeToo Movement

The #MeToo movement reveals various social implications. In one of the readings by Castle et al., they found out that the #MeToo movement was effective in organizing Democrats, whose members already have high awareness about political issues, who also showed how some personally experienced some form of sexual violence. They add evidence to partisanship, which proves that sex and gender influence the political behavior of those who subscribe to contemporary social and political issues.
