Introduction
I understand caring as a service to a child and the family from the perspective of child-youth care. Firstly, regarding service to a child, caring implies meeting children's needs in terms of emotional, physical, educational, and social welfare. As illustrated by Freeman (2013), services to children develop their full preparedness and potential as far as society is concerned. Secondly, I consider my services to the family to superimpose the family's importance in a child's or youth's life. For instance, caring defines the essential responsibilities of parents, especially during parent-child contact. This help finds information regarding a child's family and how these affect the well-being of children.
