Standardized tests provide more consideration to the established guidelines and structures. They are formulated to be administered to a larger population, so they are adapted to a more generalized population of test takers based on the intended recipients. Standardized tests must be given exactly as they are described in the test manual because, as their name suggests, they must be given in a standard manner. This guarantees that they give the same instructions to every child they evaluate, resulting in a result that accurately reflects that child's score in comparison to their age peers. In contrast, non-standardized tests have a little more leeway and are more likely to be unique or tailored for certain recipients. It can be done to determine a child's skills and talents as well as to identify areas that need improvement.
