Product Labels
There are three major types of product labels: brand labels, informative labels, and descriptive labels. Brand labels provide information about the product brand and help communicate specific messages about the product to consumers. Informative labels offer essential information such as instructions on how to use the product, precautionary measures when using the product, first aid information in case of an accident, and ingredients use. Informative labels are usually the most detailed and contain much useful information. Federal Requirements for Product Labeling
Federal law requires manufacturers to provide accurate label information to help ensure public safety. The law also mandates them to label all hazardous products.
