Great post, Kenia! You’ve succinctly covered all the steps, and I enjoyed reading your post. Of all of the five phases, I think the implementation stage is the most important and critical one primarily because it is at this point that an organization switches from the old system to a new one. At this point, the organization can begin to gauge whether its change management strategies are working based on employees’ acceptance of the new system. While the other steps are vital, I believe an organization needs to put extra effort and resource into the implementation phase. Thank you for your excellent post.

This is very insightful, Jessica. I think the first advantage you’ve mentioned is quite crucial for the overall success of the project. The HR can dedicate efforts and resources to focusing on one stage at a time, and I think this allows for coverage of all aspects involved at the stage. That before the HR moves to the next stage, say analysis, everything in the planning stage is complete. This is in contrast to a situation whereby the organization approaches system implementation without following the specific steps. What do you think?
