Some things in business are not easy to ignore, and office renovation is one of them. The renovation will give the office a new look and effectively manage business activities. The process of renovation is not easy as people may think. Numerous challenges were experienced from the start to the final stage after having been tasked to oversee the entire process. Though the project succeeded as it was completed on time and met its stated objectives, various things were learned throughout the process.
One of the lessons learned in the project is communicating with clarity to ensure the project is completed on time. On the contrary, it is imperative to stay ahead at any stage of the project by understanding the next part of the remodeling sequence and addressing issues before they are discovered at the last minute. During office renovation, we communicated with different stakeholders, from suppliers of raw materials, the project manager, and the entire management. It was through this timely communication that office renovation was completed on time.
Additionally, meetings are crucial for quality projects. Although other scholars claim that prompt meetings are not necessary, weekly meetings play a significant role in the quality of the project. Regular meetings are vital as it helps address emergent issues instead of waiting for them to pile (Haase et al., 2020). For instance, attending meetings once a week will be imperative in evaluating the project before the date reaches.
