"To Thrive in Hybrid Work, Build a Culture of Trust and Flexibility" by Giacomo Bagnara is a crucial article that shows how Microsoft Corporation has been relating to its employees during the COVID-19 pandemic. The company's human resource department researched to improve the firm's relationship with its workers. The data gathered shows the significance of adopting distinctive working styles. Besides, Microsoft is a large corporation with over 180,000 employees in more than 100 countries worldwide (Bagnara, 2021). The paper shows how the use of data in human resources is relevant, the importance of lessons from the article for my classmates, and how the information can be applied.
The survey data provided by Microsoft is crucial for human resources since it can be used to promote employees' productivity, motivation, job satisfaction and to address common challenges that workers come across in their daily activities. Satya Nadella, Microsoft's chief executive officer (CEO), called the issue portrayed by the data as the Hybrid Paradox. In particular, it involves a situation where individuals want work flexibility and crave more physical connection simultaneously. 90% of Microsoft workers admitted that they felt included in the workforce (Bagnara, 2021). Based on the data collected, the following is a bar graph showing why Microsoft employees cited working in-person and from home.

As shown in figure 1 above, the primary factors that make many Microsoft employees prefer to work from home are achieving work-life balance, avoiding commuting, and focusing on their work.
