Hierarchical Organizational Structure
An organizational structure is a system that details how certain activities like roles and responsibilities are directed to meet the organization's goals. It also determines the flow of information and lays down procedures for decision-making. In my company, the hierarchical structure is adopted, whereby at the top sits the CEO, and at the bottom, we have the low-level employees and the entry-level. Commands trickle down from the top management to the junior employees.
This type of organizational structure has a clear definition of roles and responsibilities, and employees know whom to report to or whom to discuss projects with.
